Fred Thompson 62 (43.97%)
Newt Gingrich 24 (17.02%)
Rudy Giuliani 21 (14.89%)
Mitt Romney 10 (7.09%)
Mike Huckabee 7 (4.96%)
John McCain 6 (4.26%)
Sam Brownback 5 (3.55%)
Duncan Hunter 2 (1.42%)
Tom Tancredo 2 (1.42%)
Chuck Hagel 1 (0.71%)
Ron Paul 1 (0.71%)

And in Cherokee County….

Fred Thompson tied for second in the Cherokee County GOP Straw Poll this weekend — Gingrich was first with Rudy and Fred in second place. The catch is that Thompson was not on the ballot — people wrote him in. No wonder the other campaigns are starting to get nervous. (In Cherokee County | Peach Pundit)
