Fred leads with almost a 2-1 margin over frontrunner Rudy Giuliani.

Below are the results of a three-day poll in the state of Georgia. Results are based on telephone interviews with 800 likely voters in Georgia, aged 18+, and conducted September 7-9, 2007. The margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

Rudy Giuliani 17%

Mitt Romney 6%
Mike Huckabee 6%

On the Republican side, Thompson, not yet an official candidate, had the support of 22 percent of S.C. GOP voters, followed by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani at 18 percent. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was third with 17 percent and U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona was fourth with 11 percent.
The Republican results have a margin of error of 3.6 percentage points.Here are the full results of both polls.

Fred Thompson is leading all other candidates in Georgia according to a new poll

Finally, a new Strategic Vision poll in Georgia shows Hillary Clinton maintaining a small lead over Obama on the Democratic side and Fred Thompson rocketing into first place ahead of Mayor Giuliani on the Republican side:
