Many of you have participated in raising support for Fred here in Georgia and heard about the great success we have had from straw polls, to events, to endorsements. We are not alone, as conservative grassroots support is building all over the county for Fred. Here is a story about a group from Texas that traveled all the way to Iowa to represent Fred at the straw poll. Through car washes and raising support from other supporters by e-mail, they were able to raise the $1,000 to have a table at the event, in addition to the other costs of purchasing buttons, lit and travel expenses. You just don’t see this with the other campaigns, where supports are on their own initiative organizing and raising money out of their own pockets to organize support for Fred. The Thompson campaign is turning into a real conservative movement that the liberal media, and GOP establishment are making note of. September can’t get here soon enough!
